IIQE Paper III Question Bank — 3,295 Answers Show This Paper Has No Priority Chapter

Last updated 2026-08-10

For long term business (life-led), Paper III is required alongside Paper I.

This paper is structured the opposite way to Paper I, and that difference changes how you should allocate your time.

The top four are 24.1 / 23.8 / 22.1 / 22.0 — almost identical.

Compare Paper I, where two chapters carry 56%. Here the largest single chapter carries 24%.

Two consequences:

  1. There is no shortcut in Paper III. In Paper I you can take two chapters and capture most of the

loss. Here, dropping any chapter costs you roughly the same as dropping any other

  1. Accuracy across Paper III is lower overall. Four of five chapters sit between 55% and 60%,

whereas Paper I has three chapters above 72%. The same study hour returns less here

Chapter 2 (Types of Life Insurance and Annuities) has the lowest accuracy in the paper at 55.0%. Despite carrying only a 20% weighting, it is the one chapter that justifies extra time on its own.

⚠️ This is a practice accuracy rate, not a pass rate. Sample: 9 candidates, 7,914 answers (3,295 on Paper III) — still small. Full reading.
